ISLAMABAD: He said leaving Pakistan alone after Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan was a big mistake.
He was meeting with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani along with the US ambassador Cameron Munter and US ambassador to Afghanistan Rayon C. Crocker.
Prime Minister Gilani said the ties between Pakistan and US should be strong and positive and will leave no room for militants. Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, Defence Minister Ahmed Mukhtar and Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir were present with the Prime Minister.
