After a long long absence from the main political scenario of the district Balochs are collectively thinking to make a change in the upcoming elections after one and a half year.
Chiefs of the Baloch tribes in Khushab and surroundings gathered on Friday evening under the flag of Young Baloch Federation at the residence of Haji Muhammad Sharif Khan ex chairman Municipal Committee. Haji Sharif Khan who remained the chairman Municipal Committee for two consecutive terms in 80s is regarded one of the few senior most politicians of the district. Ex-Chairman MC and ex-district administrator people's program Khan Muhammad Baloch, Ex-President District Bar Khushab Dildar Hussain Khan, present Gen Sec. District Bar Shafqat Hayat Khan, General Sec. PMLN district youth wing Nazar Hayat Khan, Ex-District President Sunni Tehrik Zamurad Abbas Khan, Religious Scholar of Fiqh-e-Jafria Allama Zaki Khan Qumi, Chief Executive Muslim Cambridge Shcool Systems Javed Khan, Sardar Altaf Ali Raza af Khushab, Haji Muhammad Ali Khan of Namewali, Sardar Ali Raza Khan of Girot, Sardar Rehan Abbas Khan of Thatti Kalrani, Sardar Shafqat Khan Bhola, Shafqat Sardar Khan ex Nazim, Inspector Ghulam Sarwar Khan and country fame writer and analyst Zaheer Baqar Baloch were prominent among the gathering of around 500 Baloch dignitaries of the area.
